(2) Pretitrate for dehydration. (3) Determine the factor of the titrant. Measurement: (1) Collect the sample with a syringe. (2) Place 0.02g (three drops) of sample in the titration vessel for the moisture measurementon the sample. -Calculation- Moisture (%)=((DataxF-Driftxt-Blank)/(Wt1-Wt2))x0.1 Data: Volume at EP (mL) Blank : Blank value (mg) F : Factor of titrant (mg/mL) Wt1 : Tare including sample weight (g) Drift : Drift before measurement (ug/min) Wt2: Tare including residual weight (g) t : Measuring time (min) -Official standard method- Karl Fischer method-Ambient conditions- Temperature: 23.5°C R.
