LT3-OM恒温器专为显微拉曼设计,也适用于其它各类低振动要求的光学显微实验。1.52英寸的样品腔设计使得该恒温器可用于大多数显微测试台。它拥有连续可调的样品座,利于用户更好调节工作距离。

 

该款恒温器真空外罩为抛光不锈钢焊接结构,为样品提供了一个洁净的环境。平滑的不锈钢结构限制了水和油的分压,大大降低了样品表面水汽的附着,从而使得实验过程中无水峰。该款恒温器具备LT3不同于其它恒温器的所有特点,包括大大降低液氦消耗提升制冷效率的热交换型液氦传输管线。

LT3-OM是一个模块化的系统,可选择多种样品座。所有的4 K组件都是镀金组件(4-5μ层金)以保证其低温性能。样品座有多种尺寸,可用于反射或透射。样品座到窗口的距离可连续调节。

The ARS manufactured LT4B Helitran is a True UHV cold head (10-11 Torr) where all of the rubber o-ring seals have been replaced with welded joints and metal seals. The LT4B is our lowest cost liquid flow UHV cryostat. The LT4B works with either Liquid Helium or Liquid Nitrogen. The LT4 utilizes a standard transfer line and cold tip. ScanningTunnelMicroscopy

Scanning Tunnel Microscopy (STM) is the earliest technique that was developed in the scanning probe microscopy (SPM) area. It generates imaging surfaces with atomic resolution, which is ~ 0.1 nm in lateral and ~ 0.01 nm in depth. The principle of the STM is based on quantum tunneling. When conducting measurements,a conducting sharp tip as the probe is brought very close to the surface. In the meantime, a voltage bias is applied between the tip and sample to make electrons tunnel through space. The resulting image is the change in the tip height as the tip is scanned over the sample surface. Clean sample surface and tip, and low electronic and physical noise are required for high-resolution STM imaging. The STM can be widely used in UHV or any other gas or liquid ambients from the temperature of ~ 0K up to 1300K.

Raman spectroscopy is a technique to detect the vibrational or rotational modes of lattice or molecules. There are two types of scattering, Rayleigh scattering, and Raman scattering. Rayleigh scattering is elastic, and Raman scattering is inelastic. When Raman scattering occurs, there is energy differentiate between the incident photons and scattered photons. Raman spectroscopy exhibits this energy differentiate, which corresponds with the specific vibrational or rotational mode of lattice or molecules. Therefore, it is commonly used to identify and analyze the structure and composition of the sample. It also can be combined with a microscope to observe single nanostructures or microscopic areas called micro-Raman spectroscopy.

Angle-ResolvedPhotoemissionSpectroscopy(ARPES)

Angle-Resolved Photoemission Spectroscopy (ARPES) is one type of photoemission spectroscopies to obtain information about the electronic band structure and Fermi surface of crystals in the reciprocal space. Soft X-ray is irradiated onto the crystal surface, and the kinetic energy of photoelectrons emitted from the surface is measured as a function of polar and azimuthal angles. Because electrons escape from the surface are projected through the surface, the direction of the momentum perpendicular to the surface is not conserved. Therefore, ARPES is an ideal tool for 2D materials because the direction of the electronic momentum of interest is parallel to the surface. The increased sensitivity of excitations can be achieved by reducing thermal energy at cryogenic temperatures.

Electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR)/electron spin resonance (ESR) is an important method to study unpaired electrons in organic and inorganic radicals, transition metal complexes, and some biomolecules.When paramagnetic compounds with unpaired electron spins are under magnetic fields and electromagnetic waves, normally in the microwave range of frequency, the transition between spin states is induced. Thermocouple Feedthroughs

Type-K — Offers broadest temperature range (-200°C to +1250°C), and is the most widely used thermocouple type. For these reasons Accu-Glass supports Type-K with feedthroughs having Chromel® and Alumel® pins and mating contacts for maximum accuracy. Matched pin material for Type-T, J, E, S, R and C thermocouple are not available. Use of standard instrumentation feedthroughs with gold-plated nickel-iron alloy pins, and goldplated copper alloy contacts are offered instead. They are pneumatically driven GM Cryocoolers, that are offered as both single and two-stage units.The single stage units are designed when fast cooldowns and high cooling capacities are needed. These systems have been modified to allow for high cooling capacities at 77 K. The single stage units reach base temperatures of < 25 K. For personnel and equipment safety and measurement accuracy, current measurements on conductors at high voltage should be made only with a conducting shield cylinder placed inside the CT aperture. There should be a low electrical impedance connection from one end only to a reliable local ground. An inner insulating cylinder of adequate voltage isolation should be between the shield cylinder and the conductor at high voltage. Any leakage, induced or breakdown current between the high voltage conductor and the ground shield will substantially pass to local ground rather than through the signal cable to signal ground. Do not create a "current loop" by connecting the shield cylinder to ground from both ends. Current flowing in this loop will also be measured by the CT.

Using the SPI Cure™ with a standard heating block for 1.5 snap-cap conical tubes, at temperatures from 55–59°C, we have achieved safe and complete polymerization of LR White (acrylic) and SPI Pon (epoxy) resins in both protected and unprotected BEEM® capsules as well as 00-gelatin capsules. Please note that this report concerns a novel3 adaptation of dry-block heating technology designed for molecular biological procedures.In this test, we have purposefully used only resin blanks.Finally, we report that in the case of LR White, no degradation of the material of which the BEEM® capsules are constructed has been observed in either ‘protected’ or ‘unprotected’ heating regimes. We recommend careful testing of embedding molds not specifically mentioned in this paper.
