X-1SS高效型低温恒温器拥有不锈钢真空外罩及仪表群。配以合适的真空系统该套恒温器真空度可达10-7 Torr,更高的真空度会有效防止样品表面污染。

镍镀金无氧铜铜防热辐射屏耐用,热辐射低,是低温实验下理想的防热辐射材料。

X-1SS系列恒温器可配备DE-202、DE-204或DE-210系列冷头,根据客户需要可选择4K,5.5K,10K不同型号。

Model RO-600(1K) – Ruthenium Oxide RTD – RuO Thermometer from Scientific Instruments

The Model RO-600 Ruthenium Oxide Temperature Sensors are thick film resistors which adhere to are available with calibration down to 20mK or grouped/interchangeable and have a nominal resistance of 1,000? at ambient temperature. The ruthenium oxide temperature sensor offers excellent performance characteristics in magnetic field environments. These sensors exhibit an initial small negative magnetoresistance at temperatures below 250 mK at low fields (less than about 1.5 Tesla). The magnetoresistance then becomes positive at larger fields and increases at lower temperatures. This magnetoresistance is repeatable. For example, a resistance change of 8% induced by an 8 Tesla field at a temperature of 80 mK corresponds to a temperature error of 7 mK.

The simplest magnet system is one where a sample insert has a small 6T magnet bolted at the bottom. Such an insert would have an integral variable temperature insert with sample space of 25 mm. ScanningTunnelMicroscopy

Scanning Tunnel Microscopy (STM) is the earliest technique that was developed in the scanning probe microscopy (SPM) area. It generates imaging surfaces with atomic resolution, which is ~ 0.1 nm in lateral and ~ 0.01 nm in depth. The principle of the STM is based on quantum tunneling. When conducting measurements,a conducting sharp tip as the probe is brought very close to the surface. In the meantime, a voltage bias is applied between the tip and sample to make electrons tunnel through space. The resulting image is the change in the tip height as the tip is scanned over the sample surface. Clean sample surface and tip, and low electronic and physical noise are required for high-resolution STM imaging. The STM can be widely used in UHV or any other gas or liquid ambients from the temperature of ~ 0K up to 1300K.

Photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopy is a widely used technique for the characterization of the optical and electronic properties of semiconductors and molecules. PL is a process of light emission from any form of matter after the absorption of photons. The incident photon in the visible region excites one of its electrons to the excited state. And then, it radiates a photon as the electron return to the lower energy state. In quantum mechanics, the energy band is quantized, which means only certain transitions are allowed. Therefore, the discontinued energy peaks of luminescence are expected.

Ellipsometry is an optical method to derive the dielectric properties of thin films. Polarized incident light is reflected obliquely from the surface of the sample to generate ellipse of polarization reflected light in terms of amplitude ratio and phase difference, which is measured by a spectroscopic ellipsometer. Information about composition, roughness, thickness, doping concentration and other material characters can be yielded through it. Intrinsic physical properties of thin films can also be studied by the temperature dependence of ellipsometry.

Deep-level transient spectroscopy (DLTS) is a very powerful tool to detect the defect concentration and thermal emission rate of semiconductor deep levels by measuring capacitance transients as a function of temperature. It normally used the Schottky diode or p-n junction as a probe. In the process, the probe is forward biased to fill the defects with free carriers by a pulse voltage. After the pulse, the defects start emitting trapped carriers due to thermal emission.

Angle-ResolvedPhotoemissionSpectroscopy(ARPES)

Angle-Resolved Photoemission Spectroscopy (ARPES) is one type of photoemission spectroscopies to obtain information about the electronic band structure and Fermi surface of crystals in the reciprocal space. Soft X-ray is irradiated onto the crystal surface, and the kinetic energy of photoelectrons emitted from the surface is measured as a function of polar and azimuthal angles. Because electrons escape from the surface are projected through the surface, the direction of the momentum perpendicular to the surface is not conserved. Therefore, ARPES is an ideal tool for 2D materials because the direction of the electronic momentum of interest is parallel to the surface. The increased sensitivity of excitations can be achieved by reducing thermal energy at cryogenic temperatures.

When a temperature difference is created on both sides of the device, carriers in material diffuse from the hot side to the cold side, which results in a voltage across the device. The AN_180KIT takes advantage of the very special lead frame and size of the AKM HG-106C-2U, GaAs, Hall element to detail the method of making a very thin (<0.65mm) thick, high field (+/-1T) magnetic field sensor.The kit incorporates a thin 0.4mm thick PCB and includes all the circuitry to interface with the Hall element. For the most temperature stable output, the HG series Halls should be driven with a constant current source. This kit has a current source of 0.5mA and an instrument amplifier to increase the Hall element output signal to a full scale analog voltage of 2.5V +/- 1.5V for a magnetic field up to +/-1.5T. The output is linear to a magnetic field of +/-1T.

AKM uses four different semiconductor materials in its Hall Elements. These different materials represent AKM’s 4 different series of part numbers. The different materials provide different performance characteristics (magnetic sensitivity represented by electron mobility and band gap, operating voltage, temperature sensitivity, etc.) allowing the design engineer to choose the best solution for the particular application.

There should be a low electrical impedance connection from one end only to a reliable local ground. The CPCO Series (160mm) Current Probes are Clamp On current sensors capable of measuring ac and dc currents available in ranges of ±4000A ±8000A, ±12000A with an accuracy of +/-1% and non-linearity of <+/- 0.5%. The bandwidth is dc to 40kHz. The Current Probe splits along a diameter allowing easy installation to existing cables without having to break the connection. A captive screw is used rather than a clip to ensure consistent closure under mechanical loading or vibration.
