  • 纳米等离子体传感(NPS 局域表面等离子体(LSP)是金属纳米粒子中自由电子连贯的、集体的空间振荡,可以通过近可见光的电磁场来激发。当白光穿过等离子体的传感器时,由于光被粒子吸收和散射,导致消光光谱上出现消光峰,即共振峰。 共振峰的位置由纳米粒子的尺寸、形状和材料决定,更重要的是,它也取决于邻近纳米粒子的介质的折射率。因此,通过监控共振峰的变化,就可以检测和监控界面处发生的变化过程对传感器表面纳米粒子的介电环境产生的影响。

  • The different available surface coatings on Insplorion’s sensors enable control over the material composition of the surface. In this application example lipid membrane platforms (vesicles and bilayers) are assembled on Insplorion sensors with different surface chemistries (bare gold disks on glass and TiO2 and SiO2 coatings, respectively). Due to the extreme surface sensitivity of Insplorion's Nanoplasmonic Sensing (NPS) technique information is obtained not only on the lipid adsorption but also on the membrane architecture and subsequent membrane-peptide interactions.

In this application example it is shown how NPS can be employed in a quantitative study of the kinetics of lipid vesicle adsorption. NPS provides information on both the attachment and deformation of adsorbed vesicles.
