【报告人介绍】

    2004年获北京大学医学部药学院学士学位,同年保送进入中国科学院过程工程研究所生化工程国家重点实验室进行硕博连读,2011年获得博士学位后留所工作,2013年成为首位破格晋升的副研究员,2016年破格晋升为研究员。

    研究方向:基于纳微球、囊泡、细菌等生物颗粒构建新型功能材料,发展在抗肿瘤化疗、基因治疗、免疫治疗和细胞治疗中的创新应用。

    科研成果:在Nature Materials、Nature Communications、Immunity、JACS、Advanced Materials、ACS Nano、Advance Functional Materials、Biomaterials等著名学术期刊上共发表SCI论文70篇,他引3000余次;其中第一作者和通讯作者共45篇,10篇为封面文章。授权中国发明专利5项,国际发明专利1项,参与编写中英文论著5部。先后获得中国科学院院长特别奖、中国科学院优秀博士论文、中国科学院卢嘉锡青年人才奖、中国颗粒学会青年科学家奖、中国药学会青年药剂学奖、侯德榜化工青年科技奖等多个奖项,并入选中国科学院青年促进会优秀会员、北京市科技新星计划、北京市青年拔尖人才计划和北京市高创人才计划。


【报告内容简介】

   Aiming at the poor cellular response of aluminum adjuvant, we devoted ourselves to exploring novel materials to improve the performance of therapeutic vaccine against cancer. To date, several vaccine platforms have been successfully developed in our group. Taking the micro/nanoparticle adjuvant for an example, we developed membrane emulsification technique and new preparation process to endow the particle with uniform size and tunable structure. Based on these, we unsealed the size/structure-activity relationship between particle and immune response. The optimized particles helped us to increase antigen uptake/presentation, facilitate lymph node targeting, and promote preferred cytokine production. As a result, both cellular response and humoral response could be significantly improved. Inspired from nature, we also designed some biomimetic vaccines, and testify their feasibility for tumor therapy. They exhibited typical morphology of bacterial as well as surface danger signal, which enabled them to be identified as pathogens by DC cells. Once loaded with tumor antigen, such a biomimetic formulation could significantly promote the proliferation of cytotoxic T lymphocyte. As expected, the tumor development could be completely restricted and no death occurred during observation time.
