个人简介:Linda is a Scientist in the Model Development team at Mimetas where she is working predominantly on the development and characterization of kidney-on-a-chip models. Besides that, she also worked on 3D intestinal and cancer on-a-chip models. She received her master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences at the Radboud University in Nijmegen (The Netherlands). Her main interest during the bachelor’s degree was Toxicology, where she gained research experience at the Radboud Institute for Molecular Life Science (RIMLS). During her master’s she further extended her knowledge and experience in Toxicology and Human Pathobiology. She investigated the effect of compounds on inducing hypoxia in mesenchymal stem cells and thereby stimulating angiogenesis in endothelial cells for purposes such as wound healing and tissue regeneration. At Mimetas she developed 3D proximal tubule on-a-chip models for high-throughput nephrotoxicity assessment and transporter interaction. 查看更多
