原理的简单介绍：IL-4，白介素-4。IL-4由活化T细胞、肥大细胞和中性粒细胞产生。IL-4首先被发现对骨髓来源的T细胞有生长促进作用。此后，发现IL-4的作用谱越来越广，包括对T、B细胞、肥大细胞、NK细胞、LAK细胞、单核巨噬细胞和少突胶质细胞都有直接的促进生长和分化作用。IL-4在体内和体外都显示出抗肿瘤的作用。由于IL-4对免疫系统所具有的广泛作用，其在临床上有着良好的应用。小鼠的IL-4合成时有140个氨基酸，切除20个氨基酸的引导肽后成为成熟蛋白质, 分子量为13.5KD。
