ALDH1A3 Antibody(N-term)
Cat.#: T2799
Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Clone ID: polyclonal
Swiss Prot: P47895
Mol Weight: 56kDa
Size: 100ug
Description
Aldehyde dehydrogenase isozymes are thought to play a major role in the detoxification of aldehydes generated by alcohol metabolism and lipid peroxidation. The enzyme ALDH1A3 uses retinal as a substrate, either in a free or cellular retinol-binding protein form.
Recommended Applications
WB, IHC, ELISA
Applications and Recommended Dilution Factors
WB: 1:50~100
IHC: 1:10~50
ELISA: 1:1,000
Species Reactivity
Human, Mouse
Products Data
Western blot analysis of anti-ALDH1A3 Antibody (N-term) in mouse kidney tissue lysates (35ug/lane). ALDH1A3(arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.
Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human kideny tissue reacted with ALDH1A3 antibody (N-term), which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.
Specificity
This ALDH1A3 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 31~60 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human ALDH1A3.
Storage Condition and Buffer
Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 6 months. For long term storage store at -20°C. Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is prepared by Saturated Ammonium Sulfate (SAS) precipitation followed by dialysis against PBS.
Alternative Names
ALDH1A3 antibody, ALDH1A6 antibody, ALDH6 antibody, RALDH3 antibody, Aldehyde dehydrogenase family 1 member A3 antibody, Aldehyde dehydrogenase 6 antibody, Retinaldehyde dehydrogenase 3 antibody
