欧美克创立于1993年 ，是中国著名的颗粒测量仪器制造商、广东省高新技术企业、软件企业及广东省粒度粒形分析仪器工程技术研究中心，具有深厚的测量理论研究功底和活跃的技术创新能力，取得多项专利及有价值的成果。欧美克的激光粒度分析仪被认定为火炬计划项目和重点新产品，企业经营也卓有成效。

欧美克的用户超过8000家，涉及粉体生产企业、高等院校、科研院所等不同领域，并出口至美、英、德、日等三十多个国家和地区。欧美克及其科研人员参加了水泥、磨料、碳粉等多个行业粒度测量标准的制定,同时也是激光粒度仪2016版国标的起草单位之一。为了更好地服务新老客户，欧美克在北京、上海、郑州、淄博、成都分别设立了办事处。

OMEC was founded in 1993 in Zhuhai, China, which is now the location for the company’s global headquarters, manufacturing and commercial operations. Today, OMEC is an established leader in particle characterisation instrumentation in China.  OMEC is specialised in research and development in particle characterisation and engineering, with a proven track record of patents and innovation products. OMEC's laser diffraction particle size analysers have also been accredited as Key Products in the China National Torch Program.

OMEC experts have contributed to many industry standards associated with particle characterisation covering applications in cement, abrasives, carbon powder, calcium carbonate and other industry segments. In particular, as an official member of the working group for particle characterisation, OMEC was one of the key contributors of the national standard of “Particle size analysis - laser diffraction methods” published in 2016.
