关于（高温）低温摆锤冲击实验方法，现世界上主要有三种方式。 1、目前世界上绝大多数用户的实验室所选用的传统方式：预先将样品在另一个（高）低温恒温箱中冷冻（加热）至所需温度，然后迅速取出后放置于夹具上快速冲击。误差取决于环境温度的散热及取出样品至冲击结束的时间。 2、专用冲击低温箱方式：将样品试验台（包括样品）一块儿冷冻（通常不能加热做高温试验），达到所需温度并且稳定后再打开低温箱开始冲击实验。误差取决于低温箱温度准确性、稳定性，样品及夹具稳定时间的长短以及打开低温箱后至冲击结束所需时间。 3、整体冷冻方式：将整个冲击仪密封在一个小型低温恒温室内或整个操作间低温恒温。由于小型恒温室价格昂贵，工作人员在低温环境中工作不便，此种方式很少使用。由于环境温度对冲击仪有较大影响，该方式不能做高温试验及很低的低温实验。误差取决于恒温室温度的稳定性、准确性以及仪器对环境温度变化的影响
