When reconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent of antibody the antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-4 °C.

产品介绍    The protein encoded by this gene recognizes the sequence CCTTGAG along with other members of the HMG-box class DNA-binding proteins. It acts during chondrocyte differentiation and, with steroidogenic factor 1, regulates transcription of the anti-Muellerian hormone (AMH) gene. Deficiencies lead to the skeletal malformation syndrome campomelic dysplasia, frequently with sex reversal. [provided by RefSeq].    

Sox9是软骨形成过程中一个十分关键的转录因子，已经有研究表明骨形成蛋白2(bone morphogenetic protein 2,BMP2)能诱导Sox9的表达。
    有学者认为；Sox9蛋白很可能与椎间盘退变有着密切的关系，Sox9是胶原蛋白合成过程中的一个重要的转录因子，且在软骨的发育、成熟过程中对胶原蛋白有着正向调控作用，Sox9蛋白在男性性腺调节睾丸发育中也有一定的作用。
