Dielectric High Reflective Coatings (DHR)

All-dielectric high reflective (HR) coatings offer a very high efficiency and a much higher laser induced damage threshold than enhanced and protected metal mirrors. They are designed to provide either high reflection over one or more spectral bands, or as broadband reflectors covering, for example, entire visible spectrum with reflection higher than 99% over a certain angular cone of the incident light. Plot below shows spectral performance of our standard high efficiency dielectric reflector that provides Ravg > 99% @ 380-780 nm for a certain incidence angle.

Metallic High Reflective Coatings (MHR) 

Idealphotonics provides metallic high reflective coatings by material of Au, Ag, Al, Cr, and Ni-Cr. These coatings are applied to where the consistent high reflection in a wide spectral rang is necessary. Their reflectivity are not higher than that of dielectric HR coatings, but their HR spectrum can over near-UV, visible and near-IR. In order to prevent these metallic coatings from oxidization, these coatings have been deposited on a layer of dielectric coating.

*Ravg is average reflectivity from wavelength 400 to 1200nm.

Antireflective Coatings

Single Layer MgF2 Antireflective Coatings (Part No.: SAR)

Magnesium fluoride (MgF2) is commonly used for single-layer antireflection coatings. MgF2  is almost ideal low refractive index material because it has wide transparent range, good adhesion, high durability and high laser induced damage threshold. It is a good choice for the coating of some crystals, such as BBO,KTP and YAG etc.  
 

Multilayer Antireflective Coatings (Part No.: VAR)

Microphotons offers a full range of V-Coatings from 250nm to 3000nm. This type of coatings can attain the lowest reflectivity at the center wavelength, which can be adjusted to your required wavelength and angle.

Multilayer Broadband Antireflective Coatings (Part No.: WAR)

Different from single layer MgF2 broadband antireflective coating, the multilayer Broadband antireflective coating can reaches higher transmission for broadband spectrum. Therefore, it is the ideal for a wide range of multi-wavelength laser and white light application. Please notify that the wavelength range and reflectivity of the coating are obviously changed according to the incident angle.

Dual Wavelength Band Antireflective Coatings (Part No.: DAR)

This coating allows two center wavelengths radiation pass through the substrate with low reflectivity. It is often used in frequency doubling systems or the other muti-laser output systems, such as LBO AR-1064/532 or AR-1535/629 and so on.The lower reflectivity at certain wavelengths could be ordered specially..
