The new 4600D is the most accurate and reliable Dynamic Diluter we’ve ever produced. The 4600D Dynamic Diluter prepares PPB level standards from PPM level certied cylinders using 2 to 6 mass ow controllers. Up to 5 cylinder
standards can be blended with a diluent gas (channel 1 – typically N2) under equilibrium conditions for unsurpassed reproducibility.

The 4600D now provides full support for digital Mass Flow Controllers (MFCs). Unlike analog MFCs which start to become unreliable below 10% of their maximum ow rates, digital MFCs can be run accurately down to about 3% of
full scale, allowing a greater range of acceptable concentrations using the 4600D and 1 PPM cylinder standards. Laboratories can now create sub-PPB level standards directly from PPM level cylinders, to accommodate the lower
reporting limits being requested. Since no analog signals are required to operate digital MFCs, the flow rates produced by each MFC channel will more closely reect ows set during the last MFC calibration. With option 4600-01, pressurizing of field samples with nitrogen or surrogate is supported to add further quality assurance to the analysis.
