2GHz to 5GHz Fiber Optic Detectors

Thorlabs offers five models of compact, fiber-coupled, high-speed photodetectors, including the new 2 GHz DET01CFC model, which replaces the older D400FC. A visible light version (400 to 1100 nm), the DET02AFC, is also available, with a fast 1.2 GHz bandwidth. This series of GHz bandwidth photodetectors provides the same ease-of-use and compact size as the rest of our extremely popular DET series.

All five models are designed to perform in a wide range of test and measurement applications involving fast optical signals, which includes high-speed data communications, analog microwave, and general high-speed photonic research and development.

If collimation is needed, Thorlabs recommends using our fiber collimation package in a kinematic mount, which allows for easy coupling of free-space beams into the detectors. Please refer to the Related Items and Accessories tabs for links to more information or click on the image to the right.
