Apogee提供两种类型的太阳辐射计,分别为硅光探测器型和新型的热电堆型,均符合ISO9060:2018 Class C级标准(又称二级标准)。硅光探测器型传感器适合预算较低且不需要较高精度的应用,这种传感器的价格低、响应时间快,但在多云天气的误差较大。而新的成本收益型热电堆太阳辐射计具有黑体热电堆检测器,提供更加宽频、更加统一的光谱响应,在各种大气条件下都具有更好的性能表现,用很少的成本便可实现与Class A级热电堆太阳辐射计接近的表现。应用领域包括农业、生态、水文气象网络、太阳总辐射、优化光伏发电系统等短波辐射测量。
