击穿电压采用计算机控制，过人机对话方式，完成对、绝缘介质的耐电压击穿强度，工频介电击穿强度试验。

 电压击穿强度测试仪应用范围：

主要适用于固体绝缘材料如电线套管、树脂和胶、浸渍纤维制品、云母及其制品、塑料、薄膜复合制品、陶瓷和玻璃等介质在工频电压或直流电压下击穿强度和耐电压时间的测试；该介电强度仪器采用计算机控制，可对试验过程中的各种数据进行快速、准确的采集、处理，并可存取、显示、打印。

1、设备要安装单独的保护地线。接保护地线，主要是减少试样击穿时对周围产生的较强的电磁干扰。也可避免控制计算机失控。

2、介电强度测试设备的电路设有多项保护措施，主要有：过流保护、失压保护、漏电保护、短路保护、直流试验。
