The new high-resolution thermographic camera VarioCAM ® HD head was conceived for stationary industrial and scientific applications.
With the high geometric resolution of the uncooled microbolometer Focal-Plane-Array detectors of (1,024 x 768) IR pixels, even smallest details are visible. Because of the optomechanical MicroScan technology, thermographic images with up to (2,048 x 1,536) IR pixels can be captured. The innovative MicroScan technology is designed for continuous operation and allows the FPA detectors once again to multiply their number of IR pixels, which is now four times higher than before. This multiplication is not achieved by simple interpolation of data but by generating real measurement data.
The stationary industrial models VarioCAM ® HD head are based on the same core technology as the mobile models of the thermographic camera series VarioCAM ® High Definition and are equipped with a GigE-Vision interface as well as digital in- and outputs. With their compact light metal housings, they are perfectly suited for stationary industrial applications under harsh conditions but also excel in computer-aided laboratory applications. Their protection degree IP67 makes them resistant to dust and hose water. The utilisation of high-class protection-degree-maintaining LEMO plugs protects the thermal camera even during computer-aided mains operation.
Remote control connection to the VarioCAM ® HD head can be established via GigE-Vision- or RS232 interface. Save radiometric data with up to 240 Hz on your computer.
