Catalogue Number ANT-100
Type Mouse Anti Human Monoclonal.
Introduction Insulin decreases blood glucose concentration. It increases cell permeability to monosaccharides, amino acids and fatty acids. It accelerates glycolysis, the pentose phosphate cycle, and glycogen synthesis in liver.
Clone 7F8.
These clone have been derived from hybridization of X63-Ag8-653 myeloma cells with spleen cells of Balb/c mice immunised with purified human insulin.
Specificity Insulin, human.
Protein concentration 4.1 mg/ml.
Reactivity Kass for clone 7F8 is 7.5 x 109M-1. These antibodies cross-reacts with human proinsulin, bovine insulin (30%) and porcine insulin. No cross-reaction with free C-peptide.
Mouse Isotype IgG1 kappa.
Application Detection of insulin in two-site enzyme immunoassay.
Purification Purified by chromatography on protein A Sepharose. Purity is tested by electrophoresis.
Presentation The vial contains antibody in PBS, pH 7.4, containing 0.1% of sodium azide as preservative. Store at + 4°C.
