ALKBH3 Antibody(C-term)
Cat.#: T3356
Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Clone ID: polyclonal
Swiss Prot: Q96Q83
Mol Weight: 33kDa
Size: 100ug
Description
The Escherichia coli AlkB protein protects against the cytotoxicity of methylating agents by repair of the specific DNA lesions generated in single-stranded DNA. ALKBH2 (MIM 610602) and ALKBH3 are E. coli AlkB homologs that catalyze the removal of 1-methyladenine and 3-methylcytosine.
Recommended Applications
WB, IHC, ELISA
Applications and Recommended Dilution Factors
WB: 1:100~500
IHC: 1:50~100
ELISA: 1:1,000
Species Reactivity
Human, Mouse
Products Data
Western blot analysis of ALKBH3 Antibody (C-term) in mouse kidney tissue lysates (35ug/lane). ALKBH3 (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.
Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human prostate carcinoma reacted with ALKBH3 Antibody (C-term), which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.
Specificity
This ALKBH3 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 248~278 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human ALKBH3.
Storage Condition and Buffer
Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 6 months. For long term storage store at -20°C. Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
