Alpha 2 Macroglobulin(A2M)antibody
Cat.#: 3451-1
Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody
Clone ID: EPR4432
Swiss Prot: P01023
Mol Weight: 180kDa
Size: 100ul
Description
Alpha-2-macroglobulin is a protease inhibitor and cytokine transporter. It inhibits many proteases, including trypsin, thrombin and collagenase. Alpha-2-macroglobulin is implicated in Alzheimer’s disease (AD) due to its ability to mediate the clearance and degradation of A-beta, the major component of beta-amyloid deposits (1).
