Use this new doppler flowmeter with virtually any type of fluid regardless of their chemical or physical properties! Sensors do not come in contact with the fluid making this flowmeter ideal for measuring flow velocities of sewage waste or sludge that can normally clog in-line sensors. Flowmeter features microprocessor-based electronics with auto-frequency tracking and auto-linearization for turbulent or unsymmetrical flows to provide accurate readings.  
Use flowmeter with pipe* sizes from 1" to 120" in diameter. Simply strap the sensors on the pipe then measure flow velocity in feet/sec. Enter pipe ID to view flow rate in GPM or MGD (million gallons per day) and total in gallons. Note: For clean fluid application, place the sensors 1 to 3 pipe diameters downstream from a 90?elbow. 
Keep permanent record of your data with the 4 to 20 mA output signal. Nonvolatile memory saves parameters even when battery needs recharging. Flowmeter comes encased in a heavy-duty case and includes two sensors each with 20-ft cable, two mounting straps, tube of transducer couplant, output cable, and rechargeable battery with charger. 
Not recommended for use with transit (clay), cast iron, concrete, or fiberglass pipes.
