资料摘要:
Primary and secondary amines can easily be converted to their corresponding formylated compounds under microwave irradiation. Simple formic acid can be applied to a variety of aliphatic and aromatic amines to accomplish the otherwise stubborn conversion in very short time.1
As a model reaction the transformation of 2-nitroaniline to the corresponding formamide has been chosen. Since this reaction requires only a short time at the target temperature to achieve almost full conversion the influence of the total process time on the reaction outcome has been investigated.2
