As Field Service Engineer, you are an ambassador of Waters and will bring to the market Waters’ products and services. The candidate will demonstrates a clear grasp of understanding the customers’ business and its growth plans and is able to take that knowledge and convert that into a solution and offering from Waters, with a primary aim of bringing “customer success”. This position brings a great degree of flexibility working in the field. The role will be designated to either a territory and/or markets.
Responsibilities
* Provide TA instruments services, including installation, basic training, preventative maintenance, repair and compliance services.
* Contribute to high-value service related procedures and documents.
* Work closely with other departments to enhance customer experience.
* Developing and maintaining positive relationships with customers in assigned territory.
* Help Service Sales Representative on service orders.
Qualifications
* Typically requires a bachelor’s degree or above in Electronics, Mechanics, Materials science or other disciplines.
* 5 years of experience with installation, performance maintenance, troubleshooting, support and/or user utilization of scientific instrumentation, preference for previous TA product suite.
* Typically requires hands on technical experience for installing, troubleshooting, repairing and calibrating complex analysis tools such as DSC, TGA or similar systems. Fresh graduated can also be considered.
* Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
* Proven ability to troubleshooting complex systems and subsystems down to component level. Ability to communicate effectively to a diverse audience with specific customer needs.
* Able to read and interpret schematics.
* Accept travelling on business for a long time.
* Good English in communication and writing.
