Key Responsibilities

Application Support and Sales Assist:
1. Maintain and develop knowledge of assigned products (Thermal analyzer) and their common applications, undertaking appropriate training where necessary.
2. Manages maintenance and takes responsibility for demonstration equipment and facilities ensuring that they are maintained and updated to latest product specifications for customer demonstrations and application work.
3. To identify and engage with key customer accounts, both current and potential to define current and future analytical requirements.
4. Assist and develop application notes and presentations to support sales activities.
5. Support marketing / sales, furnishing leads for system sales, upgrades, support contracts and other market intelligence whilst in contact with the customer.
6. Create and follow up new enquires promptly and efficiently.
7. Carry out customer demonstrations, workshops / seminars and/or produce applications reports for customers.
8. Assist in knowledge transfer by training customers and other company employees when required.
9. Attend shows and exhibitions as necessary.

Person Specification – Essential requirements unless stated
Education / Qualifications:
1. Master's degree in materials or thermal analysis related fields, such as Macromolecular material, Inorganic materials, chemistry, physics, etc. Experience in technical support is preferred.

Professional Skills/ Abilities:
1. Engineering Background and knowledge on TA applications is preferred

3. Good English communication is a preferred
4. Good office skill is must
