•Executes established research plan, records data produced, and identifies issues and opportunities observed during research process. Has a good understanding of the challenges and approaches to Atomic Absorption measurements.
•Reviews and discuss technical briefs, provide analytical detection or sample preparation insights and resource estimates for new application work.
•Generates applications and works with customers and collaborators to develop solutions.
•Can do trouble-shoot and diagnose problems with specific Atomic Absorption, Microwave and ICP-MS applications
•Evaluates fitness for purpose of new products for key target applications
•Interacts with project team members and peers to anticipate and resolve day to day issues. Interact with other divisions, customers and suppliers on routine matters to achieve results.
•Interacts, coaches and answers queries, when required, from the field or customers.

Requirements:
•Masters Degree in Science, 1-3 years of Science experience with Atomic Absorption, Microwave and ICP-MS in an Academic, government or commercial research environments.
•Experience related to the development and validation of methods using Atomic Absorption, ICP and/or ICP-MS techniques
•Ability to succeed in a global fast-paced environment, working on multiple projects with constantly changing priorities and deadlines.
•Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
•Excellent team orientation within a multi-disciplinary environment.
•Experience in the development of Atomic Spectroscopy platforms and techniques with demonstrable intimacy with specifying products in order to meet customer’s requirements and evaluating prototypes and developed products against key requirements
