As Sales Development Specialist, you are an ambassador of Waters and will bring to the market Waters’ products and services. You will demonstrates a clear grasp of understanding the customers’ business and its growth plans, as well as be able to take the knowledge and convert that into a solution and offering from Waters, with a primary aim of bringing “customer success”. This position brings you a great degree of flexibility working in the field. Your role will be designated to either a territory and/or markets.

Responsibilities
Sales supporting such as customer co-visiting, documents generation, solution presentation, etc. Work closely with sales to achieve and exceed business goal
• Intergrate the marketing and sales tools to promote the products and solutions. Train the sales team about the technology
• Provide application consultancy services and technical support to end users both in the area of liquid chromatography and Mass Spectrometer
• Conduct or support local seminars, marketing events on the customer site
• Efficient management of customer base through planned coverage and follow up of key accounts, user and prospect
• Team work with Marketing, Service and Sales teams to collect, evaluate, and forecast the local business data
Qualifications
Education:

Master/PhD Degree in scientific area such as analytical chemistry, food science and environmental engineering.
Experience:

2+ years work experience in a laboratory, with a background in chromatography and mass spectrometry;
Exposure within food and environmental field/industry;
Skills:

Highly organized / well-prepared / time management skills
Sound communication and presentation skills, Strong interpersonal skills and a good listener
Matured disposition, positive attitude and strong sense of commitment
Strong technical background in analytical technologies, especially LC and MS
Travel:

This is a territory-based position with travelling within your designated territory, and occasional travels to other regions for activities such as governance of department, local business support, meetings and training.
