Optimization of the reaction kinetics during RAFT polymerization of 2-(dimethylamino)ethyl acrylate (DMAEA) in N,Ndimethylformamide (DMF) was investigated in this study, followed by the synthesis of DMAEA/styrene amphiphilic diblock copolymers, using Automatic Continuous Online Monitoring of Polymerization reactions (ACOMP). Poly(DMAEA) is a pH sensitive polymer with wide applications in pharmaceutical and water treatment industries yet challenging due to possible interaction of its amino group with catalysts.详细>
