Simultaneous Determination of Ten Food Additives by High Performance Liquid Chromatography

Abstract:A rapid method for simultaneous determination of ten food additives in food by high performance liquid
chromatography was developed. Liquid chromatographic separation was performed on an C18, 5μ, 4.6×150mm column.
The mobile phase is 0.02mol/L ammoninum acetate (pH6.0)-methanol(gradient elution) with column temperature 30℃
flow rate 1.0ml/min, and detection wavelengths 230nm and 258nm. The linear range for ten food additives is 0.0025~
0.050mg/ml; r>0.9999, while recoveries of ten food additives are 86.4%~100.4%, RSD 0.1%~0.9%(n=4), and detection
limits0.2~0.8mg/kg.
