Hi-Cap High Capacity Sampling Cannula
Increased capacity for most brands of dissolution bath.
Available for 500ml, 900ml and 1000ml tests, this new style sampling probe has an inert twist-lock housing which safely contains a standard VanKel cannula filter. This means that the same cannula filters can be used for different dissolution baths, offering increased flexibility.
The surface area of the Agilent cannula filter is greater than 7 times that of the small filter disc that is traditionally used in this style of sample probe.
The Hi-Cap’s thin low-volume stainless steel cannula can remain in the vessel throughout the dissolution test without affecting the dissolution result, removing the need for an automated probe lift. The cannula simply sits in the vessel cover and samples from the same position every time.
