UPLC(Ultra-Performance Liquid Chromatography)为分离科学带来了重大变革,在仪器技术与色谱柱技术上的创新,使液相色谱的分离度、速度和灵敏度达到前所未有的高度。更小粒径的优势受到仪器谱带展宽和压力限制的负面影响而不能被完全表现出来,UPLC系统移除了这些障碍,它使得填充以更小粒径(1.7um-1.8um)的色谱柱能达到理论性能,同时在压力高达18,000psi(1241bar)条件下仍能精准输送流动相,从而使液相色谱性能达到新境界。

现在包括四大颗粒平台(BEH、HSS、CSH和CORTECS),有7种以应用为导向的UPLC固定相,服务于:SEC、氨基酸、蛋白质、肽、寡核苷酸和糖苷。
