Traditional reversed-phase C18 packings will experience phase collapse under highly

aqueous conditions (typically greater than 95% water) resulting in little, if any, retention for

most analytes. The Alltima™ AQ packing with its hydrophilic endcap overcomes this

problem, allowing better retention of polar compounds with mobile phases up to and

including 100% aqueous conditions.

The Alltima™ AQ base silica is deactivated to give you symmetrical peaks with acidic,

basic, and neutral compounds. Mobile phase modifiers such as triethylamine (TEA) are

generally not required to produce sharp, symmetrical peaks.

All Alltima™ AQ columns are warranted for 90 days from the date of purchase. If you

are not entirely satisfied with your purchase please call Customer Service for a replacement

or full refund.
