VWR? Erlenmeyer Flasks, Polycarbonate, Sterile
Ideal for use in culture, storage, media preparation, molecular biology, and related applications, these nonpyrogenic Erlenmeyer flasks are excellent for non-adhering/suspension cultures. Flasks are manufactured from virgin, medical-grade resin that retains its clarity after being exposed to gamma radiation. They are inert, nonleaching, and provide a wide temperature tolerance and uniform thickness. They are also tested with E. coli cultures for improved nucleic acid yield. Flasks are available with either a flat or baffled base, and will fit all standard shaking incubator clamps. Molded-in graduations are included on all sizes.
Flasks are available with a vented cap with a 0.22μm pore-size PTFE membrane for aerobic (sterile air exchange) or a solid cap for anaerobic (no air transfer) applications.
Flasks and caps are autoclavable and sterility tested to SAL 10-6.

Falcon? erlenmeyer flasks are disposable culture and storage vessels for cell biology, microbiology, or molecular biology applications. They are ideal for use on shaker equipment for culturing bacterial, yeast, and mammalian cells as well as for reagent storage. They provide flexibility with a 2-in-1 vented or non-vented leak-proof cap and allow uninhibited visualization of sample or media through the optically clear polycarbonate resin, which is lighter and safer than glass.
