These units find use in geology, medicine, particle physics, environmental applications as well as in many other areas. Typically used scintillation materials include YAP:Ce, YAG:Ce, BGO or NaI(Tl)
           
           Fully customized spectroscopy units consist of an appropriate photodetector and the necessary electronics such as preamplifiers, amplifiers, voltage dividers or voltage sources, either integrated within the detection unit or as external units.

All scintillation detectors are magnetically shielded and mechanically protected by a metal housing. Housing size and materials are also selected in line with customer requirements.
