在美国药典中对红外有如下描述：
The short-and long-term stability of the instrument alsocan be estimated from the deviation of the 100% line from 100% T (where Tstands for transmittance) at the short wavelength (high wavenumber) end of thespectrum. Short-term stability is estimated by measuring the two single-beamspectra a few minutes apart and calculating the 100% line. The long-termstability is measured by increasing the time between the two measurements toseveral hours.
